let me tell you my story

It began with a book...

surprising, huh?

One night, while reading Caraval by Stephanie Garber, a scene stopped me in my tracks — Tella’s dress covered in delicate peonies, described so vividly I could almost see it. I obsessed over that moment a little too hard and had to bring it to life somehow. That’s how my very first bookmark was born — and before I knew it, I couldn’t stop creating more.

Most of the designs here are inspired by specific moments from books, lines that make you pause, or characters you can picture perfectly in your head. Since I’m also a cozy gamer, movie-watcher, and anime fan, you’ll find little nods to those hobbies sprinkled throughout. Each bookmark is handmade with love, often crafted during quiet spare moments with a cup of tea or coffee nearby, hoping to bring you the same comfort they bring me.

I want Cozy Bookmark Co. to feel like your personal reading nook — honest, welcoming, and full of pieces you’ll cherish. Whether you’re here for romantasy, cozy cottagecore vibes, or just something that makes you smile, I’m so glad you’re here.

Love,
Kaylie

my reading buddies

Hubby

We like to go fishing and hiking together. If we have some time on those adventures, I love to read and yap to him about my books. He's there through it all!

Mango

Mango is the oldest (and the favorite...don't tell the others). He loves to cuddle every chance he gets. He is orange though, so he gets himself into a lot of trouble iykyk.

Olive

I'm pretty sure Olive is the laziest cat to ever exist. She does not do much other than sleep, but she is very sweet (only to those she deems worthy though).

Kiwi

Kiwi was a stray that my hubby had grace on and decided to take home. She was a pain in the butt for a long time, but we're happy she's part of the family now. She loves to fight and she is frequently seen with a blep.
